PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor superior in high temperature lifetime characteristics, moisture resistance, and low temperature characteristics, and an electrolytic solution used in the electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: As solvents, one or more kinds selected fromγ-butyrolactone, propylene carbonate,δ-valerolactone, and 3-metylsulpholane are used.
