PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring an intensity distribution of a recording magnetic field which can be simply executed with good accuracy, a measuring system, and a method for manufacturing a magnetic head thereof. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing magnetic recording medium comprises following steps: a step for obtaining a reproduced output before irradiation with a laser beam for reproduction by reproducing a magnetic track of a magnetic recording medium in which a signal is recorded with a reproducing element (S112), a step for setting ON for emission of the laser beam for reproduction (S114), a step for obtaining the reproduced output under irradiation with the laser beam for reproduction while reproducing the magnetic track by irradiating the magnetic track with the laser beam for reproduction (S116), a step for setting OFF for emission of the laser beam for reproduction (S118), a step for obtaining the reproduced output after irradiation with the laser beam for reproduction (S120), a step for calculating an attenuation rate of the output before, in the middle of, and after irradiation with the laser beam based on the reproduced output before, in the middle of, and after the irradiation with the laser beam (S126), and a step for obtaining the characteristic of the magnetic recording medium based on a relation between the attenuation rate of output and the power of the laser for reproduction (S128).
