PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tumor marker capable of discriminating GIST-related prognostic malignant cases from prognostic benign cases at a high rate. SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating GIST of patients suffering from GIST and defined based on the expression of fetuin is provided, containing, as active ingredient, 4-(4-methylpiperazin-1-ylmethyl)-N-[4-methyl-3-(4-pyridin-3-ylpyrimidin-2-ylamino)phenyl]-benzamide represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
