PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake of an elevator for improving maintenance workability. SOLUTION: An O ring 11 is arranged in an annular groove 1b formed on a rotary shaft 1 of a driving motor. A backup ring 12 is arranged on the rotary shaft 1 tip side of the O ring 11 among the annular groove 1b. A clearance between the rotary shaft 1 and a boss part 4a of the brake disc 4, is narrowed in the radial direction of the rotary shaft 1 by its backup spring 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
