The dowel pin has a fixture part (3) on one furniture part and joined to a pin shaft (1)with head and protruding into a hole in the second furniture part. The head lies near a transverse hole. The end-side end of the fixture part, facing the pin shaft, has a cavity (5) into which the pin shaft fits and in which it is fixed by deforming and or stamping the outer casing (6) of the fixture part surrounding the cavity. The interior of the outer casing is ridged. The shaft has a longitudinally slit, plastic centering sleeve (4). |
