The method involves enabling adjustment of driveway parameters before starting of a start-up procedure and based on vehicle parameters. A vehicle controlled by a driver is enabled by a vehicle actuation influence. The adjustment of driveway parameters is enabled based on acquisition of actuation of an acceleration pedal and/or a driving brake and/or a fixed brake of the vehicle. Load acted upon the vehicle is determined after the starting of the procedure and based on coupling moments and wheel speed. An independent claim is also included for a control device for performing load state dependent adjustment of a driveway parameter of a vehicle with an automated coupling and/or automated gear.
