Laundry machine with lost motion clutch

A laundry machine with a lost motion clutch is disclosed. A spin basket (122) is located in a tub (120) of the machine. The machine includes a drive assembly with a shaft (128) and agitator (124), where the shaft passes through a wall of the spin basket and the agitator is located within the spin basket. The lost motion clutch (142) is physically located in the tub and interconnects between the drive assembly and the spin basket, and absorbs greater than one revolution of relative rotation.
