A method for manufacturing a gas container is provided to improve air-tightness and safety of the gas container by integrally forming an upper cap with a container body through a hub spinning. A pipe is formed and cut into a predetermined length(S10,S20). The pipe is input into a mold and high-pressure water is applied to the pipe to expand the pipe, thereby forming a container body(S30). The container body is mounted on a roll cutting jig to divide the container body into two or four sections(S40). The container body is placed in the mold and an automatic spinning machine processes the container body into a desired shape(S50). The container body is placed in a mold to form a mouth in the container body by applying hydraulic pressure to the container body(S60). After adjusting the height of the container body(S70), the length of the welding section of a lower cap is corrected(S80). Then, after cleaning the container body(S100), a mountain cap is mounted on the container body.
