<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of easily discharging outside muddy water entrapped between ridge parts provided to seal lips, and a manufacturing method for the glass run. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run 1 has a plurality of ridge parts 11 to 13 extending in the moving direction of a window glass 201 formed at specified intervals in the seal lips 2, 3. The window glass 201 is brought into contact with these ridge parts 11 to 13 to reduce the sliding resistance between the seal lips 2, 3 and the window glass 201.
