BACK-LIGHT UNIT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY(LCD) DEVICE

A back light unit of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to change and diffuse the path of light by a lens pattern of a lens sheet to supply light to the space corresponding to non-emitting area of an OLED. An LCD panel(10) outputs an image. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)(20) is arranged at the rear of the LCD panel and offers the light beam toward the front LCD panel. A lens sheet(30) is interposed between the LCD panel and the OLED, changes the path of light emitted from the OLED and diffuses the light. The OLED includes an organic electric field light emitting layer formed on an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) glass and a base film coated by ITO. The organic electric field light emitting layer is separated into plural unit cells(21) having a square shape. The light emitted from each unit cell of the OLED is vertically emitted against the surface of the OLED. The lens sheet includes a transparent film such as PC(Polycarbonate) or PMMA(Polymethylmethacrylate). Plural lens patterns are formed at light emitting surface or light receiving surface of the film.
