LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a driving method thereof are provided to solve a problem that non-uniformity of colors is generated by characteristic deviation of each LED(Light Emitting Diodes), thereby providing superior color uniformity. An LCD includes an LCD panel and a light source disposed in the rear of the LCD panel. The light source includes a point light source group comprising plural configuration point light sources. At least a part of the point light source group is rotated according to time to efficiently performing mixing of light. Therefore, characteristic deviation of LEDs(211,212,213) is attenuated and color uniformity of light supplied to the LCD panel is improved.
