<p>The invention relates to a surgical extractor meat to very quickly and shocklessly extract the pins used in orthopedic and traumatic surgery, in previously operated patients suffering from various fractures of human skeleton. According to the invention, the surgical extractor comprises a cylinder-shaped tubular body (A) provided at one end with a cover (1) wherethrough there passes a screw bushing (2) protected against axial displacement by a pressure bearing (5) of a pressure plate (6) and some safety rings (3 and 4), the bushing (2) cooperating with one end of a central screw (7) coaxial with the body (A), the other end thereof being screwed into a chuck (B) and protected against loosening by a nut (8) and against rotation relative to the body (A) by a handle (9) entering a hole (a) cut normal to the screw axis (7), while the end of a pin (10) to be extracted passes through a hole (c) of a blade (11), is fixed and secured into the chuck (B), and by rotating the screw bushing with a wrench (C), the cylinder-shaped body (A) moves until it rests on the blade (11), further on the central screw (7) moving shocklessly in the axial direction, together with the pin (10) to be extracted.</p> |
