A plasma display device is provided to upgrade a plasma display device product through Internet access when functional elements are added or bug occurs in a firmware mounted therein after the plasma display device product is sold. A plasma display device comprises an image board(200) having a memory unit(210), an input/output communication module(230) and a control unit(220). The memory unit stores firmware. The input/output communication module transmits the firmware and additional data to the memory unit. The control unit controls a new firmware to be stored in the memory unit through the input/output communication module when the new firmware is generated. The input/output communication module includes an LAN controller(231) and a LAN port(232). The LAN controller is connected to the control unit and controls the control unit to communicate with external devices. The LAN port is used for a direct connection with the external devices.
