<p>The invention relates to a toroidal combustion chamber to be fixed by casting to the piston head, in solid injection Diesel engines. According to the invention, the toroidal combustion chamber for solid injection Diesel engines is provided with a continuous circular rib (a), as well as with some discontinuous circular ribs (b, c) bored in different planes for fixing the combustion chamber (2) to the piston (1), while on the front face it is provided with some V-shaped grooves (e and d) of variable depth, the maximal depth thereof being reached in the area located on the edge of the combustion chamber.</p> |
