The multi-function water sprinkler has a water motor (10) with an outlet cap (50). The cap has a water outflow chamber with a number of barriers, matching the motor paddle wheel and a central angled guide opening matching the spray jet (54) together with water guide ribs. The barriers and ribs determine the direction of the water spray as a water jet or a wide water mist.
