A food waste disposer is provided to prevent long food waste from being stuck to an agitation shaft rotated by the operation of a motor within a reactor, and allow microorganisms and various food wastes to be mixed well by blades projected from an outer periphery of the agitation shaft. In a food waste disposer(20) including an injection part(27) for injecting food waste, a reactor having a perforated plate formed in a lower part therein, a catchment tank(29) for collecting wastewater that has been degraded through the reactor, and a discharge part(25) for discharging wastewater that has been collected in the catchment tank, the food waste disposer comprises: an agitation shaft(22) connected to a motor(21) and rotated in an intermediate part of the reactor; a plurality of blades(23) projected to the outer side from an outer portion of the agitation shaft to mix the food waste; rotary plates(24a,24b) inserted onto an outer periphery of the agitation shaft and rotated together with the agitation shaft connected to the motor; and a plurality of auxiliary shafts(30a-30d) symmetrically attached to the rotary plates inserted onto the agitation shaft to prevent entanglement of the food waste. The plurality of auxiliary shafts have a diameter larger than that of the agitation shaft. |
