A lumbar support apparatus in a vehicle seat is provided to support passenger's lumbar normally by allowing a lumbar support to be rested on predetermined positions even though a seatback frame having the lumbar support mounted thereon is turned over. A lumbar supporting apparatus in a vehicle seat comprises a lower plate(300) fixed to a seatback frame(200), a sliding plate(400) having both ends rotatably mounted on the front surface of the lower plate and a lumbar supporter(500), and a cable(130) having an end attached to the sliding plate and the other end attached to a rotatory shaft(115) of the seatback frame. If the seatback frame pivots centering around the rotatory shaft, the sliding plate vertically moves on the front surface of the lower plate while being fixed to the cable. The lower plate and the sliding plate are connected to each other by an elastic member. The elastic member includes a leaf spring. |
