Disclosed is a humanized anti-lymphotoxin-beta receptor (LT-beta-R) antibody whose light chain complementary determining regions are defined by amino acid residues 24-34, 50-56 and 89-97 of SEQ ID NO:1, and whose heavy chain complementary determining regions are defined by amino acid residues 31-35, 50-66 and 99 -109 of SEQ ID NO: 2 and wherein the antibody comprises at least one of the following residues in its light chain; K3, W41, I46, Q69 and Y71; or at least one of the following residues in its heavy chain: F37, T40, A49, M89 and V93 (Kabat numbering convention).
