The label (2) has a control unit (4), and a memory (6) for storage of labeling data over an object and an energy unit (10). A display (12) e.g. electro-chrome display, is provided based on a digital paper, and the control unit is arranged to indicate the labeling data stored in the memory in the display. The energy unit is provided with a film battery and/or a solar cell and/or a capacitor. The control unit is arranged to indicate a part of the labeling data as a barcode on the display. An independent claim is also included for a method for labeling an object by a radio frequency identification-label.
