<p>Injection molding method for producing optical moldings, especially lenses, mirrors, diffraction gratings or prisms, from transparent polymers uses a mold with two or more sections. After filling the molding cavity, the mold is kept under a pressure of at least 1000 bar during cooling of the melt. An independent claim is included for optical moldings produced using the method.</p> |
