The round bending machine (1) has a counter-element in the form of a bending table (3) to carry the cutout. The roll (2) exerts pressure on the cutout on the bending table, which can move in two directions as well as being able to rotate round an axis (5). The roll can move transversely to these directions, so that a rotary movement of the table can compensate for any alteration in the relative position of the roll and the axis.
