<p>A protective film for a polarizing plate which comprises a laminated film having k thermoplastic resin layers (wherein k represents an integer of 2 or greater), the refraction indexes at wavelengths of 380 nm and 780 nm of the ith thermoplastic resin layer (ni(380) and ni(780)) and those of the i+1th thermoplastic resin layer (ni+1(380) and ni+1(780)) having the following relationship: ||ni(380)-ni+1(380)|-|ni(780)-ni+1(780)|| <=0.02 wherein i represents an integer of 1 to k-1; a polarizing plate produced by bonding the protective film to a polarizer; and a liquid crystal display element comprising the polarizing plate and a liquid crystal panel.</p> |
