<p>A portable ground cover, primarily for protecting grass, comprising at least one plate member 1, each with an array of apertures 5 to expose the ground underneath. The cover may be made of plastic or rubber and may be flexible. The face in contact with the ground may have a gridlike surface. The plate may be square or may have a curved shape, which may be a truncated sector which may have an apex angle of about 45 degrees. The plate may have a longitudinal tab parallel to the face of the plate which may be integral to the plate. There may be attachment system to join two plates together which may be in the form of protrusions and corresponding apertures, staples, latches or a tongue and groove system.</p> |
