A terminal device is provided to start control and/or operation of at least one internal device embedded in a card terminal device and/or at least one external device linked with the card terminal device by using a smart card storing information for starting the control and/or the operation of the card terminal device and/or the devices linked with the card terminal device. A card terminal(800) device is equipped with a controller(805), a card interface(810), a key input part, a screen output part, a memory(815), a communication processor(820), and various kinds of additional function processors. The controller reads control/operation information by interpreting control/operation storage information received from a smart card, and changes the card terminal device into a control/operation mode based on the read control/operation information. The controller controls a control target device by reference control and direct control, and performs, controls, and manages a process for an operation starting device directly/indirectly through reference and/or direct operation. |
