A front loading washing machine is provided to improve assembling efficiency of a flange shaft and a rotary drum by using a position fixing protrusion and a position fixing groove. A frontloading washing machine comprises a rotary drum(40), a flange shaft(60), a position fixing protrusion(65), and a position fixing groove(48). The flange shaft is attached to the rear surface of the rotary drum. The flange shaft has a hub and a plurality of arms. The arms of the flange shaft are extended from the hub toward the outer periphery. The position fixing protrusion is formed at the flange shaft, and guides position of the flange shaft to locate the center of the flange shaft at the center of the rear surface of the rotary drum. The position fixing protrusion is formed at each arm. The position fixing groove, where the position fixing protrusion is inserted, is formed at the rear surface of the rotary drum. |
