The microscope housing (12) has a single handle which extends in at least two directions instead of a pair of handles on a central point on the microscope housing. The handle has a grip part (10) and a mounting (11) for mounting the grip part on the microscope body and a mounting-appliance (13) on the mounting part. A holder (3) is mounted on the microscope body.
