#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves adjusting a contention-free isochronous audio traffic of a beacon interval to an optimum value, and reserving enough bandwidth for the audio traffic. A system delay is controlled and requirements are buffered. A maximum bandwidth for a contention-based traffic is assured, in addition to the contention-free isochronous audio traffic.
