A speaker unit and a portable terminal with the same are provided to reduce the effect due to the interference between the first sound generated at the front and the second sound generated at the back. A chamber(22) supports a pronunciation member(23), emits the first sound generated from the front of the pronunciation member forwardly, and forms a closed space at the rear of the pronunciation member. A guide tube(30) with a predetermined length(L) is communicated with the closed space of the chamber and guides the second sound generated from the rear of the pronunciation member. The length of the guide tube is the length capable of changing the phase of the second sound. The guide tube is formed by a flexible type. A protrusion type opening is formed at the chamber and communicated at the closed space. The guide tube is enlarged and inserted into the opening.
