Method and device for creating temperature characteristic curves and for their linearisation

The method involves storing measurement value pairs of a process variable and temperature-dependent measurement values, and determining one temperature-dependent measurement value as a start value. All temperature-dependent measurement values are normalized with the start value, and the normalized temperature-dependent measurement values are linearised. The process variable is assigned as the linearized measurement values, where a sampling point pair is produced from the measurement value pairs. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for producing temperature-dependent characteristic curves for process variables.
