A plasma display panel is provided to enhance the brightness of images by implementing line units, protrusion units, and connection units in at least one of first and second electrodes. A plasma display panel includes front and rear substrates(101,111), and a barrier rib(112). The front substrate includes first and second electrodes(102,103), which are formed to cross each other. The rear substrate, which includes third electrodes(113) across the first and second electrodes, is disposed opposite to the front substrate. The barrier rib defines discharge cells between the front and rear substrates. At least one of the first and second electrodes as one layer includes at least one line unit, which crosses the third electrode, at least one or more protrusions extruded from the line unit, and at least one or more connection units for connecting at least two line units of plural line units. The protrusion units and connection units are disposed at the same lines in the discharge cells.
