A functionalized polymer, a method for preparing the functionalized polymer, and a composition containing the functionalized polymer are provided to improve 50 deg.C deformation force sweep tandelta, elasticity, tensile strength and DeltaG'. A functionalized polymer contains a part represented by -NH-NR1R2, wherein R1 and R2 are independently a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, allyl, aralkyl, alkaryl or alkynyl group, or R1 and R2 can form a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene, alkenylene, cycloalkylene, cycloalkenylene or arylene group together. Preferably the part is located at the terminal of the functionalized polymer; and the part is derived from hydrazone.
