#CMT# #/CMT# The unit comprises a rope attached to a hook fixed to the building, a winch (8) controlled with a lever (10) by the person being rescued and a carrier (5) for holding the person during descent which is attached to the winch at the chest section by karabiners. #CMT# : #/CMT# The winch (8) comprises a manual brake which acts on the brake drum of a centrifugal brake allowing the person to control the speed of descent or halt the descent at any position. The carrier (5) has holes for the legs (41), arms (42) and head (43). A smaller second carrier for transporting a baby can be fastened to the back of the main carrier (5) through the use of straps, laces and clasps (46).
