A method of producing a rotor capable of positively fixing a magnet to a rotor core with resin and preventing the rotor core from being fractured, comprising the step of fixing a permanent magnet (11) to the rotor core (12) by injecting molten resin (13) into a slot (12s) to complete injection molding when the dimension between the end surface (12a) of the rotor core (12) and the end surface (11a) of the permanent magnet (11) is a core end surface-magnet interval H, and the minimum dimension between the inner peripheral surface of the slot (12s), that allow resin (13) to completely fill a portion between the inner peripheral surface of the slot (12s) and the side surface of the permanent magnet (11) by an action of injecting molten resin (13) into the slot (12s) from a cylinder (23), and the side surface of the permanent magnet (11) is a minimum slot-magnet interval, with the condition that the core end surface-magnet interval H is equal to or larger then the minimum slot-magnet interval. |
