<p>The sputter unit (Z), e.g. for electrostatic paint spraying by a robot, has a dosing pump (DP) between the sputter head (4) and the paint supply (FM) held in a coil (10). The paint is forced out of the coil by a pig (12), under pressure from compressed air on one side to force the paint towards the pump for spraying. The pump is operated by an external motor through a flexible drive shaft in or at a robot hand joint (1).</p> |
