ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY OF SECONDARY BATTERY

An electrode assembly for a secondary battery is provided to reduce the bent part of an electrode assembly and to decrease the internal resistance of an electrode assembly by modifying the shape of an electrode tap. An electrode assembly for a secondary battery comprises a positive electrode plate where an electrode tap is installed; a negative electrode plate where an electrode tap is installed; and a separator which is interposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, wherein at least some part of the part(141) where the electrode tap(140) is overlapped with the electrode current collector of the positive electrode plate or the negative electrode plate is thinner than the part(142) where the electrode tap is not overlapped with the electrode current collector.
