A rapid manual connecting element (1) for vehicle electrics between vehicle and trailer comprises two mutually connectible elements (2), especially a coupling and plug and a locking element (6,7) movable between open and locked positions. In the closed position the locking element holds the connectors together and these comprise both electrical connections and connecting elements (4) for pneumatic and/or hydraulic supplies to the trailer.
