A vehicle transmission (2) includes a crankshaft (231) extending through a seal cover (221) and into an oil-storing end portion (252) of a driven shaft (232). The oil-storing end portion (252) of the driven shaft (232) defines a lubricating space (253) filled with lubricating oil (25), and extends into the seal cover (221). A unidirectional clutch (224) is disposed in the lubricating space (253) and outwardly of the seal cover (221).
