Access assembly for a vehicle

The system (1) has a transmit/receive device e.g. transceiver, provided on a vehicle side to transmit interrogation signals, and an electronic key (4) with a transmit/receive device on an identification generator side. The transmit/receive device receives interrogation signals from the transmit/receive device on the vehicle side and evaluates signal characteristics of the interrogation signals at two different points in time. A control device outputs a different control command depending on a change with respect to the evaluated signal characteristics. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method to operate an access arrangement for a vehicle (2) a system to operate an access arrangement for a vehicle.
