<p>An air conditioner is provided to minimize standby power consumption of the air conditioner by cutting off outer power supply supplied to a control board of an outdoor device in a standby operation state completely. An air conditioner comprises switch units(14,24), a power supply cut-off unit(15), and control units(12,22). The switch unit is arranged in a communication line connecting an indoor device to an outdoor device, and connects any one of a power supply unit or a communication unit(23) of an indoor device to any one of the power supply unit or the communication unit(13) of an outdoor device. The power supply cut-off unit supplies or blocks outside power supply. The control unit judges if it is standby operation conditions for stopping operation of the air conditioner temporarily, and controls the switch unit and the power supply cut-off unit according the result.</p> |
