PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sizes of a carriage and a whole printer and to prevent ink from leaking when for example the printer is inclined. SOLUTION: In a first ink absorption body 33, a negative pressure generated by a capillary phenomenon is made greater than a negative pressure of a third ink absorption body 71.
