Two method for detecting the network communication status and the service terminal thereof, one of two is: the service terminal stores in advance the position information of the client terminal, after the service terminal receives the detection request of the originating client terminal, sends the detection request to the destination client terminal, and after receiving the detection response from the destination client terminal, returns the detection response back to the originating client terminal, thereby the originating client terminal obtains the network communication status from itself to the destination according to the detection response. Another is: the service terminal is interactive with the destination client terminal in advance to obtain and store the network communication status from itself to the destination; after the service terminal receives the detection request of the originating client terminal, returns the detection response back to the originating client terminal directly according to the stored network communication status from itself to the corresponding destination, thereby the originating client terminal obtains the network communication status from itself to the destination according to the detection response. Also, while the invention provides the detection steps of the network communication time, boosts up the detection contents, realizes really the detection purpose.
