<p>An anti theft alarm comprises a housing containing a motion sensor, such as an accelerometer and a sounder. The housing is preferably disguised as a golf ball so that the alarm may be hidden in a golf bag. When armed, the alarm will sound if the housing is moved, such as if the golf bag is picked up. Preferably the housing has an on/off switch and is formed from two hemispherical shells. The alarm may be armed or disarmed via a wireless link to a remote unit preferably formed as a key fob carried by the owner. The remote unit may also receive a wireless alarm signal to trigger a sounder in the remote unit when the motion sensor triggers the alarm.</p> |
