METHOD FOR CONTROLLING UPLINK SPEED AND CONTROLLING CALL CONNECTION IN A DIGITAL REPEATER RECEIVING UPLINK SIGNALS SEPARATELY

A method for controlling uplink speed and a method for controlling a call connection in a digital repeater that receives uplink signals separately are provided to provide an integrated network operation environment to thus minimize costs by transferring an RRH(Radio Remote Headend) control signal by sharing an optical line between a base station and an RRH and monitoring an RRH operation through a base station monitoring equipment. A base station(210) includes a modem(222) that separately receives an antenna signal of the base station and an uplink signal of an RRH(250). A D/A(Digital/Analog) converter(262) receives a digital signal from the modem of the base station and converts it into an analog signal. An up-converter(264) raises the frequency of an output signal of the D/A converter. A transmission/reception switching unit(254) changes transmission/reception of a signal via an antenna(252) of the RRH. A down-converter(256) lowers the frequency of an output signal of the transmission/reception changing unit. An AGC(Automatic Gain Controller)(258) controls the gain of an output signal of the down-converter. An A/D converter(260) converts an output signal of the AGC into a digital signal and transmits the same to the modem of the base station.
