The assembly has a torque transmission element (38) formed such that the element exhibits a planar non-shielded or less-shielded configuration. An internal tooth formation (46) and a gear tooth formation (52) are aligned on top of each other such that a tooth clearance is provided between the tooth formations in a non-clamped condition corresponding to shielded configuration of the element. The tooth formations are aligned such that the tooth clearance is not provided between the tooth formations in a clamped condition corresponding to the planar or less-shielded configuration.
