The disclosure is directed to a wireless communication device and method for using the device. The wireless communications device may be used by accessing information in memory, the information relating to the location of a first communications network. The information is based on one or more reference signals from a second communications network and is used to determine whether the wireless communications device is in the vicinity of the first communications network.
