A talk burst control method in a PT(Push-To-Talk, Push-To-View, Push-To-Data) service is provided to allow a terminal and a PT server to use a PT service smoothly. Terminals A, B, and C transmits a message requesting a talk burst(MB_request) to a PT server(S10). If the PT server determines to give a talk burst to the terminal A, the PT server transmits a grant message(MB_Granted) with respect to the talk burst request of the terminal A and a message(MB_Taken) message indicating that talk burst has been given to the terminal A to the terminals B and C(S20). The terminal A transmits media data(RTP media packet) to the PT server(S30). The terminal A transmits sequential RTP media packets within an effective time for data transmission(S31-S33) and then sequentially transmits a talk burst release message(MB_Release) to the PT server(S34). The PT server determines whether the MB_Release message has been received, and discards the received RTP media packets(S35). |
