The invention relates to a control device (1) for a motor vehicle comprising a coupling system (3) which is provide on input (ANS) and output (ABS) sides and coupled to a drive system (2), on the input side, and to an adjusting element (4, K) on the output side, wherein said coupling system (3) comprises a part (10) provided with a symmetrical rotatable contact surface (6) and a securable spring spread or wrap-around type friction tight element (11, 11') whose ends (11a, 11b; 11'a, 11'b) are mutually remote. The coupling system (3) also comprises a triggering device (G) interacting with the friction tight element (11, 11') by the action of an adjustment torque (M<SUB>v</SUB>) applied from the input (ANS) to the output (ABS) side and the triggering device releases the friction tight element (11, 11') tensed against the symmetrical rotatable contact surface (5) after having passed a trigger path and generated a triggering torque (M<SUB>AUS</SUB>). |
