A method for manufacturing a flexible display device and the flexible display device made by the same are provided to form anti-reflective film layers on a base film and to form a hard coating film layer on the anti-reflective film layers so as to drop glare from the display device and to improve contrast. A flexible display device comprises an upper substrate. The upper substrate has anti-reflective film layers(22) on a base film(21). The anti-reflective film layers have more than two layers. Each layer is constituted of organic compounds or inorganic compounds having different refractive indexes. The anti-reflective film layers have thickness of about 0.1 to 500 mum. The upper substrate also has a hard coating film layer(23) formed on the anti-reflective film layers. Thereby, glare from the display device is reduced. |
