<p>The robot comprises a carriage (2) capable of following a straight line in a welding region and including a means for determining the position of the carriage within this region, as well as a welding arm extending at right angles to a vertical rotation axle (5) mounted on the carriage. Rotating the axle causes the arm to be pivoted in a horizontal plane. The arm comprises a linear actuator (6), the housing for which is fixed to the axle, whilst the free end of the linear displaceable part of the actuator is connected to a rotary drive device (7) having a rotation axis extending parallel to the vertical axle. The drive device is connected to a welding torch (8).</p> |
