CONNECTOR FOR A PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICE

A connector (100) and a personal safety device (90) are secured in series between a person and a support structure (80). The connector (100) includes a bolt (120) and another structural member (110) which cooperate to form a closed loop. The bolt (120) extends through opposite ends (112, 114) of the other structural member (110) at least one flange (92, 94) on the personal safety device (90). A radially extending flange (140) is rigidly secured to an intermediate portion of the bolt (120) and cooperates with an end of the bolt (120) to capture an end of the other structural member (110) therebetween.
